Special Projects and Roles
Change Management Agent — GWL Accra West ISO/QMS Programme
Successfully led the region to secure ISO Certification for Quality Management Systems between 2021 and 2024. With assistance from a consultant, a team of four members prepared the Accra West region through awareness creation, one-on-one education and other engagement strategies which led to the receipt of certification in 2024.
Communication Specialist / Translator — Sogakope-Lome Project
Served as Project Communications Specialist and Translator for GWCL's Project Team on the African Development Bank funded Sogakope-Lome Water Supply Project (2015 through 2022), supporting the Ghana Project Team with translation and interpretation services. Supervised the work of the Communications Consultant — reviewing communication plans and community engagement strategy for both Ghana and Togo. Assisted with crafting key messages for stakeholder and focus-group discussions and the production of mass media jingles for awareness creation in project-affected communities. Also reviewed the final Project Brochure.
Community Relations and Stakeholder Agent — GAMA Project, Western Accra Area (2018–2021)
- Co-Lead for Compensation Payment to Project Affected Persons: Liaising with the ESIA Consultant, played a key role in setting up community-based engagement points for compensation management.
- Trade Shows and Outreaches for Customer Engagement: Successfully deployed trade shows, Town Hall Meetings, School Outreaches, and Community Durbars in Accra West Region to reach pro-poor urban dwellers, creating awareness about the project and influencing community members to accept and request subsidized sanitation and water services. Communities reached included Chorkor, Glefe, Wiaboman, Tetegu and Gbegbeise.
- Establishment of Community WASH Teams: Following successful GAMA Project implementation, established gender-sensitive community level groups to serve as liaisons between communities and mainstream WASH agencies to ensure continuity and sustainability of WASH services.
- Educational Campaign on GWCL's e-billing/payment system: Led a successful educational campaign on GWCL's e-billing and e-payment system between 2017 and 2019, mainly using community platforms and schools. The campaign made the region the first to attain the highest e-payment penetration within GWL, reaching over 10,000 publics in face-to-face communication alone.
